Today is a special day...

My wish was granted.

We woke up to snow this morning!

A gorgeous parcel arrived in the post, containing this beautiful print from Abby Try Again.
I just love it!

There were also a couple of very kind surprises inside.

This one is so fitting for today's weather....thank you so much Abby!

...and I was about to say we are waiting on some very special news, but as I write this I've just heard that my beautiful friend Jemma has had a gorgeous baby boy Max.

So, congratulations to Jem's and Chris, who will undoubtedly make the most amazing parents!

The snow was definitely for him. x x x

I'm back.

Last week was a bit of a write-off. Suspected appendicitis does not a productive week make!!! Now that I'm back in the swing of things, I'm thinking a wall like this in the office would be good!

I got a little distracted here today...ok...a lot!

Yes...still here.

I bought these too!

More loveliness, every day from now on. x

Oh happy day!....

On Monday I found these little beauties and we spent the evening catching up with my lovely parents, who have just got back from a month long trip to Australia and New Zealand....it's so nice to have them home! So many gorgeous pictures of their trip to look at and so little time to post!

I'm a little teapot...

Seeing as I'm on the subject of turquoise, I thought I'd share with you my lamp base which I found in a junk shop before Christmas (hence the gold baubles in the front of the shot). My mum think it's a bit naff, but I love it and think with a little re-wiring and a nice new shade it will look even better! What do you think?

Oh, I also picked up the little pink teapot too....oooh I was a happy one that day!!!

Anyone for Cheap Chic?!

....Yes please!
Emily Chalmers, author, stylist and owner of the truly wonderful shop, Caravan, in East London, has released her new book here in the U.K and if you head on over to Decor8 you can see a full review, alongside beautiful images from the renowned photographer, Debi Treloar
We bought the pineapple wall sconce after visiting Emily's shop during a weekend in Shoreditch and I just love it! I've decided it deserves more attention than it's getting in our bedroom, so it's currently awaiting it's new home in the living room....if it ever gets painted that is!
